     @Spooke open source projects, but specially GNOME in the last few years, love this shit. This way, the NGO can distribute a lot of money between people without actually directing any of it towards actually developing the product.
     And then they wonder why Linux can't penetrate the customer market.
     
     "Oh, but Linux is huge in servers, Linux is already a successful operating system for enterprise".
     Linux works for servers because
     1 - you have actual companies developing a working product for use in the server space
     2 - Linux in servers is very minimal, and uses mostly core libraries and the CLI, which are the uber nerd parts of the system still developed by neckbeards and that actually work
     
     
     Everything in the GUI, user space and customer-oriented distros is filled with trannies, retards and diversity hires.

     @Suzu @Spooke faggots joining software projects is not about gui vs cli but potential fame. see emulation and game piracy. both give you a huge amount of attention because usually there is not much of an alternative.
     
     for FOSS it matters little. gnome is not a DE for a proprietary OS where its forced on the user. you can use other software or even fork it.

     @Suzu only recently started following opensource things and this just makes me go really. I guess it makes sense in current year but it just seems so worthless. This is a purely bloat position which will do absolutely nothing.
