   @rdr it's still considered a downgrade from x11 by a non trivial number of end users, not fanatics.
   take that in for a bit, understand just how bad a fuckup wayland is. they got beat by fucking x11 dude.

     @rdr the fact i have to care that it's running wayland IS the problem.
     pipewire is the pristine example of the right way to do system layer upgrades. i dont need to care that it's going on, if i do, that's a bug.
     wayland is THE most pyric failure in the history of software, not because x11 was that bad but because wayland is a downgrade in comparison when it comes to the end user BECAUSE USERS NEEDED TO GIVE A SHIT THAT IT WAS GOING ON.

     okay wayland mode is pretty good, i didn't even notice the load average until i switched to my tmux window and saw this.
     I just i wish people stopped saying it's ready when it's still not a feature parity drop in yet.
