   @thomasfuchs This kind of misunderstanding is why non-political youtubers don't like to mention things like this in videos. You can't put enough nuance and context for something like this into a video about old computers. It's just going to make people mad no matter what you say. People CRAVE a reason to ostracize youtubers and will misconstrue things like this for drama.

     @TechTangents @thomasfuchs and even if you do, some people are still going to be mad about it. In this situation, particularly those who equate criticism of a certain government with religious bigotry (and I’ll admit as an atheist I do not understand why this can possibly occur; maybe it’s like how the emperor of Japan was also the highest ranking religious entity?).

     Cathode Ray Dude just trolls people with his set, and that seems to not be as bad to deal with.
