   I don't know if there are any, and even if they were, comparing cities to cities would be pointless because there would be too few Republican cities for a fair comparison.

   Better to use data that includes both rural and urban areas that live under Republican legislatures. In other words, states.

     @tofugolem @BlueWaveSurfer Yep, the per capita rates are worse in the Red states. I'd say Red cities but I'm not sure there are very many.

     Reminder: Republicans work really hard on selling the "Democrat-run areas are crime-ridden hell-holes" narrative because the murder rate is actually higher in Republican states.

     As usual, every accusation is a confession with these people.
