   @Menhit sometimes permits me to write, while she's sleeping. Then she wakes up and chooses violence (or play; to her, they're the same thing).

   So no, pet ownership is actually an obstacle to writing!

     @BethanyBlack @cstross @Menhit Dexter when he was alive would hear the beep of the PlayStation starting up and come running. He knew that I'd be splayed out in the chair with my legs up in prime snoozing position for at least an hour
