   @IvanGubkin @CptSuperlative @QasimRashid I'm not sure "we have no choice but to murder civilians" is the best way to for Israel to handle the situation. Resorting to the same barbaric tactics employed by Hamas obliterates any claim to the moral high-ground Israel has, and will alienate a large number people who would otherwise support Israel in this situation. I think Israel has to do this in a responsible, ethical manner that prioritizes the preservation of civilian life.

     After the complete inhumanity on display by HAMAS, the only response available is eliminating the group's military capabilities. Israel has the right to self-defense in accordance with international law. Tragically, the people of Gaza will suffer because of the decision of HAMAS to launch its brutal onslaught against Israeli civilians last weekend.
