@welcomebot Turns out that @MrPiggy is a pedo that was instance-blocked uploaded goddamn 3DCG to my server (with a bonus of using a stable diffusion image in his header, looked like a child), which, because of Revolver, meant he uploaded it to every fucking thing on the network, which makes it a huge pain in the ass to get rid of. Worth noting, he had a baraag.net account that had been remotely deactivated, and looks now like it had been deactivated on that side. Registrations closed until further notice.
It appears to have been a drive-by, so if you have open registrations, check your logs.
Signed up from 94.30.227.199 , BALTKOM, a Latvian ISP, and it doesn't appear to be a proxy, so it might be worth Accept-Language "ru,ru-RU;q=0.9,en-US;q=0.8,en;q=0.7", User-Agent "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/102.0.0.0 Safari/537.36", email address Daddypussy@skiff.com (fucking vomit).
Shout-out to the pedo on 4chan that complains every time I post a pedo's IP/email. woodchippert.gif
@Zerglingman@p@welcomebot Does 3dCG mean he uploaded art of an illusion model or did he generate AI art? Or was it real? I’m confused about what happened.
@Mamako@Zerglingman@p@welcomebot There's a catbox link with what presumably mirrors the video he posted, looked like some generic Honey Select animation baraagniggers used to like. Definely goes into realism territory.
@p@MrPiggy@welcomebot >because of Revolver, meant he uploaded it to every fucking thing on the network Is this not going to be an issue in production because it will only upload to everyone that is connected to him?
@p@MrPiggy@welcomebot >salaspils oh that's where a concentration camp was, isn't that just delightfully ironic, a pedophile at the site of a concentration camp german energy radiating from the soil? least degenerate baltic?
@Zerglingman@p@welcomebot@Mamako I get what you're saying, real child porn is way worse since real children being harmed IS far worse AI generated shit, but I'm slippery slope is real even on a personal level, and that some people would never have gone on to watch real child porn if it weren't for intermediary stages of degeneracy, like loli, 3D renders and now AI generated CP.
All you need to do is visit any site hosting no limit 3DCG to find the worst scum of society, many of whom you know have already seen/actively seek the real stuff.
@adachi@welcomebot@p@Mamako The point is valid though. There are 'tards that come on pawoo and talk about how they want to fuck children, and post SD images or whatever of children, and that's one thing. And then there are 'tards that come on pawoo and post actual IRL videos of people fucking children, and as much as they are clearly the same crowd, it's definitely worse.
@Mamako@welcomebot@p Presumably not the former, but also based taste. As for what it actually was... Well, just put the image in the woodchipper with him, and nothing of value is lost.
@Zerglingman@p@welcomebot I don’t care if people don’t like certain art, but if they equate drawings and fictional content with the real thing it waters down the accusation. It’s completely fine to not want to associate with people who post certain fictional content however.
> Is this not going to be an issue in production because it will only upload to everyone that is connected to him?
Yeah, the way it works is there are two modes, one is "Eat all the blocks" and the other is "Fetch missing blocks on demand". (I've got all the nodes in the second mode except two.) Individual block blacklisting (crossing off the top-level block keeps it off your machine, the rest is just useless anonymous fragments without that) isn't implemented yet so if I didn't have control of all the nodes to do it manually, the block would keep coming back until I finished implementing the block blacklist. So there are two issues, one that the /rvl/full/$id endpoint exists for testing and the upload hack for FSE. (Just key blacklisting is done, which I had figured would be sufficient but that doesn't account for those two impromptu hacks so I'd been planning to get that in before the release.)
@Mamako@Zerglingman@welcomebot Photorealistic (however that gets defined; I don't want to get near the line) computer-generated stuff is treated legally in the US the same as actual photographs.
He uploaded a gif with a link to a video. His header image was either AI-generated or a slightly altered photo.
> if they equate drawings and fictional content with the real thing it waters down the accusation.
Absolutely, yes, I agree. It is also bad to associate someone that creates art (whether or not you like the art) with someone that feeds a bunch of photos of children to a bot and then asks it to make more. It's no good to ban art because this prevents people from expressing themselves: this isn't the same kind of thing.
I also think that photorealistic images of children appeal only to the type of person that photos of children appeal to. The type of person that gets banned from a place as permissive as Baraag, for example.
Ultimately, if it's hard to distinguish, I'm going to mark it null.
@LordFireCrotch@welcomebot You're probably safe, like from a liability perspective. If you're using a media proxy, you might want to get rid of accounts that post that kind of thing so it doesn't end up getting cached.
@Mamako@slashb@Zerglingman@p@welcomebot Can't say, didn't play it. It was a realistic rendition of prepubescent girl doing striptease. Post itself happened to be cached on my own instance that's subscribed to FSE's relay and rejects federated deletes, deleted it on my side in case.
@adachi@Mamako@Zerglingman@welcomebot Yeah, if you put up an image of a child and one of these and it takes longer than a few seconds to figure out which is which, they're functionally indistinguishable. "Sorry, your honor, but if I could interject for just a moment, it only *looks* like child pornography."
@Mamako@Zerglingman@welcomebot@adachi Please do not treat stable diffusion the same as art that someone creates and please do not try to drag this into a stupid goddamn loli question thread.
@adachi@welcomebot@p@Mamako Man I just wanna give a girl wings and watch her clumsily stumble around daily life trying to not bang them into things. And then also able to do lewd things with her. Please make a game like this.
@adachi@Mamako@Zerglingman@welcomebot Please untag if this is becoming a thread about the loli question. I was sick of the loli question in 2019. I wrote a thing about it so that I don't ever have to answer questions about it again: https://blog.freespeechextremist.com/blog/the-loli-question.html . It won't go away and is my personal hell. I will bring hell to earth before I allow myself to be sent there. The earth will be scorched in my wake. I will be transfigured and when you look upon me you will see not the face of a man, but a pure manifestation of the Wrath of God. notifications_about_the_loli_question.png
but i hate the 'if you hate loli, you're the REAL pedophile!'.
This is a dumb argument and doesn't hold up at all to scrutiny.
Firstly, The absolute majority of society finds pedophilia morally reprehensible. I'm also sure if you asked most people 'is jerking off to cartoon kids creepy/weird' a similar amount of people would agree.
It's not like one or the other. You can have a country that scrutinizes BOTH.
Secondly, the main point of this comic beyond 'umm you're the real pedos!' is to imply that lolicon actually stops real child sexual offenses. Is this the case? I bet the historical rate of both these crimes are similar. Did rates of pedophillia go down after the 70's and 80's when lolicon started becoming a thing in japan? frankly, I imagine rates of these child offenses have probably stayed very similar from the 50's and 60's as to the 90's or 2000's.
@006900@MrPiggy@welcomebot Yep, if the IP is to be believed. Liga's only got 600k people in it and this guy does a lot of heavyweight rendering, which means that he's got some video hardware and disk space in a place that has probably just a few large computer hardware stores. Entirely possible that he could be narrowed down.
