@Hoss remember when reddit harassed a daycare because they didn't like the color of the paint they used? Literally had grown ass men and women peeking through the windows while kids were inside.

WE DID IT REDDIT - Brave Twitterinos and WPTcels bust a guy for getting his hands on SSD full of child porn ! But wait - there's a plottwist :marseypikachu2:
        from @Throeberry
It starts with the linked tweet, where a random twitter user finds a seemingly innocuous set of expensive SSDs. What could go wrong, amirite? However, the great detectives of Xitter are aware of pederaste trickery and know a drive full of CSAM when they see one - from experien-- ahem i mean, through a friend. > [There's going to be something very VERY bad on those drives. :marseypearlclutch: ](https://twitter.com/timpa/status/1710996873828569276) Other experts weigh in: https://twitter.com/aarongraves/status/1711025710213534129 https://twitter.com/YOLO_AEMCS/status/1711068611731759605 https://twitter.com/QuanSai/status/1711018258973749675 And so on Expectedly, redditors :marseysoylentgrin: join the fray in an effort to save the day and the post quickly ends up on WPT: > [Maybe not such a great find after all :soysnoo: ](https://www.reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/1739eb5/maybe_not_such_a_great_find_after_all/) As you can see though, the comments on the post have been wiped clear :marseyjanny: . Some jannies must been working overtime. Could there perhaps be a hidden truth to this post, which would end up exposing @Merari's :soysnoo3: hugbox as not so bright and damaging its reputation? Thank you snapperson for reminding me new unddit exists. Now you can read all the reddit schizo ramblings prior to the great :marseyjanny:calypse (i forgot the link https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/1739eb5/maybe_not_such_a_great_find_after_all ) What could the truth be ? Lets find out... Evil OP  exposes the dark secrers behind the mysterious drive, and you wont expect it...: > [I had to deal with my personal information being doxxed, someone calling the police on me, and 48 hours of harassment over a completely baseless idea a hard drive I had had illegal content.](https://twitter.com/Firr/status/1711510573219827756) It was a business conference recording. Probably bought with company money and for this reason quickly forgotten: > [One dead drive, the rest had some raw video from a business conference.](https://twitter.com/Firr/status/1711502234431741972) So to conclude, this random Xitter user was harassed, doxxed and had the police called on him thanks to reddit detectives. We did it reddit? Reddit Lies and others discuss: https://twitter.com/reddit_lies/status/1711662616362340435 And some random xitter user sums it up: > [Congrats to Reddit solving the case!](https://twitter.com/SwiftOnSecurity/status/1711582315833331772) :marseywholesome:

@RustyCrab @Hoss @gray so what happened was it came from a fucking company doing A/V stuff and it was a video editor/storage drive.

Basically you want good opsec and not air out your identity out like a furry because you never know when you'll deal with redditor retards going after you for literally owning NVMe arrays.

@gray @Hoss this is, by the way, why opsec is still important even if you have "nothing to hide". You'll post a random DIY project and suddenly redditors are calling the feds on you.

@RustyCrab @Hoss I'd imagine the guy just wanted a fast array for database use or maybe a build system or something.

@gray @Hoss this whole thing doesn't make any sense. Not only would this be a giant pain in the ass to access, far worse than using an external like a normal person, but it wouldn't keep anything hidden at all. I'd think if a a dude knew how to tamper with drives he would at least know what encryption is.

@Hoss I don't get why you would need super fast storage for porn of any type.

@mint @PurpCat @RustyCrab @gray @Hoss @goatmeal Karachan did that indiscriminately. Depending on degree of media and normie attention at the time, measures ranged from gifs, earrape and masking post content with bible verses to disabling the domain.
