     @lain Watching videos really takes too much time, so I only tend to watch such videos when a link has been provided rather than search for them.
     
     For searching, Invidious works great in my experience and finding a working instance is easy.

     @lain y (Invidious) does exactly what you claim to need and despite your claims of it breaking all the time, it works on my machine.
     
     It is indeed better if it's worse, but that was a additional point.
     
     I'm amazed at how high you jump to defend your loss of freedom based on a misplaced belief of convenience.
