   There is nothing wrong in sharing copies of Mira Bellweather's "F*cking Trans Women" for free, because it is licensed under a CC0 Public Domain Dedication.

   I strongly resent claims that it's wrong to copy a document that the author explicitly made public domain.

   Sure, buy a hardcopy if you like. Hardcopies are nice.

     @thejessiekirk actually it was not licensed under CC0 Public Domain - the person uploading it to achive dot org stated it was in order to allow archive to accept it but it is a pirated copy and they lied.

The remaining third of the bellwether family chiming in to say a) please don’t & b) everything CJ said- mira wasn’t nor anyone else is getting rich off 10 bucks a pop, but the reason was this: in a world where trans women’s work is devalued, putting a literal monetary value on her own work was Making A Point
