Yes it's a remake and ignoring the product placement shit it has an incredible cast and the new spin on it was great. But they could edit the crap that annoyed me out of the movie and you'd never notice
@Moon@feld They did once, and then they started to lose a lot of money on modern films and then got political which affected their status with one of their parks. Fewer people are tuning in or attending. Lmao.
@feld@Moon My understanding is that they aren't making the profit desired after you take into account how much more money it takes to make them and then advertise them. Although maybe they are still able to keep going, with just a few successes. The parks helped them out for a while too. Maybe they can still take hits on their streaming platform. Although they did have to fire a bunch of people and it seems like they are slowing down their content.
I am all for seeing how Disney handles this after destroying their family-friendly brand.
