     @coolboymew @olmitch capability based security, pretty much the end all be all of security-oriented software design. it gives you the ability to finely segregate everything about your system in such a way that jailbreaking can be made formally impossible and whole categories of common breaches simply don't work

     @anonaccount @olmitch symbian is a deep cut from before my time, they actually freed it in the late 2000s in the wake of the android announcement but that amounted to sweet nothing since it was a rats nest of c++ and nobody wants to work with that
