     It's happening for a number of reasons for such low cost.

     The low cost hopes to evade regulatory oversight and reporting requirements.

     It's to curry favor with the rich for future bribery opportunities.

     It's the ego boost of association with the rich & powerful.

     What is the market rate for a corrupt GOP judge or Republican politician?

     Hard to set a value for a quisling, collaborator, or traitor.

     @Npars01 @zoom_earth it’s so sad that these politicians can be bought for so little money. A pittance a year for what? So they can destroy the planet and bring forth fascism again? If you are going to be one of the most evil fucks on earth you’d think it would pay better. Isn’t he like almost a billionaire anyway? What’s 140k to him anyway? Why bother?
