     Can some in the military or in infosec, familiar with the two armies, explain to me how this attack by #Hamas can be anything but suicidal?

     What am I missing?

     But, well, sometimes a military option is unpalatable to the international community or close allies, e.g. using tactical nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine.

     I have no idea about #Israel's ballistic and airforce capabilities, but if I were on the losing end of a ground battle, I'd still use them, even if they were considered "unpalatable."

     @HistoPol @Nonilex Because it never ends. There is no military solution or they’d have found it by now.
