   One of my minor gripes about Mastodon is that I often see replies to posts before I see the original post, which I kinda find confusing.

     @roadriverrail I have this weird thing that happens where I'll get a notification about something but can't ever find it. What was it for?! A comment? A Boost? Only the Shadow knows.

     @MishaVanMollusq Except that replies often only have semantically rich content when it's in context, so the top of my feed is most likely to have a lot of stuff that's nonsensical or just low-content in general without even a little linkback so I can pick up context.
