   German state sent a letter that I have to re-pay 4 (four) EURs for something. The letter is two pages with instructions how I can object in court and a hand-written remittance slip with two lines of handwritten codes and numbers.
   
   someone probably spent 15 minutes on this. let's say that person costs the German state 100 EUR per hour, so sending this cost 25 EUR + postage + printing costs.

     @kaia It's like seeing youtube trying to find pennies, they're financially falling and trying anything that supposedly could bring them more money but they spend/loose more money in the process.

     @kaia ich hab noch diese gutscheine für masken die von der bundesregierung ein jahr nach coronastart verschickt wurden als es die dinger schon im zehnerpack für billig im lidl gab, original bundesdruckerei und fälschungssicher

     @lain ich habe noch 2000 FFP2 Masken, die vom Bund (Land?) an ein Krankenhaus geliefert wurden, aber wegen fehlendem Zertifikat nicht eingesetzt werden duerfen :cirno_facepalm:

     @kaia When I was in elementary school, my parents got a letter saying they had an outstanding dept of two pennies. All else being free, it’d still cost the school more in wages for someone to spend the time to open the return letter and retrieve the two cents.

     "loose" is where something isn't fitting or screwed tightly; i.e. the fitting is loose.
     
     To make a loss is to lose.
