     @ryanhoulihan i’m sure in the early days of Hitler’s rule in Germany people told queer, Jewish, Roma, left-handed, socialist, etc. Berliners “at least you live in (tolerant, sophisticated) Berlin.”

     @ryanhoulihan it's especially wild when you're from somewhere like the South. Like yes, thanks, it is a relief knowing I'm marginally better off than the queer (or female) friends and family I left back home and can't safely return to whether I want to or not. Cheers!
