@KryptoBlok @HumongusChungus I don't believe so. Per capita risk rate (risk to child not rate of incident per teacher) is something like 3-20x depending on what metrics your using.

@KryptoBlok @HumongusChungus With the obvious statement that the number for both should be "0", the number of offenders in each category doesn't line up. There's more offenders per capita on the school system.

@BowsacNoodle @HumongusChungus I saw this image a while back, and tried to see if it took into account the population difference between catholic priests and public school employees. From what I can tell, there are far more school employees in the US than there are catholic priests in the US. My ultimate conclusion was that, if this chart doesn't take that into account, then that means that, despite only making up a tiny part of the US population, catholic priests are disproportionately committing almost as much child abuse as the public school employees....
