  @MediaActivist It could be a an instance being defederated from yours? I'm not sure how kolektiva deals with those, but that would break all your links with everyone from that instance

    Admin Announcement: Effective immediately, we have applied a limit to kolektiva.social. In two weeks (October 12th) we will be upgrading the limit to a suspend. When we originally began importing instances from the unified tier 2 blocklist, kolektiva was slated to be suspended. However, due to the large number of follow relationships, we did not defederate. However, over time it has become clear that our moderation styles are just not compatible, as BQL requires a much stricter amount of proactive moderation to keep our users safe while kolektiva is by their own admission more permissive. Additionally, it's more than once that my users have brought me posts that were antiblack. So we need to move forward. To those on kolektiva with follow relationships with us: feel free to follow from an alt if you wish.
