   @abolisyonista I agree 100% that degrowth is necessary and I don't think new nuclear power plants are worth building (at this point solar and wind are faster, cheaper, and more easily decentralized) but I wouldn't be particularly concerned about living near an existing nuclear power plant. it's less dangerous to your health than, say, living near a busy highway or any number of industrial sites

     @mycorrhiza @abolisyonista Totally agree, even if nuclear is not the solution I feel that making people be afraid of it only benefits the fossil fuel industry
