     Organizations (orgs, ngos, non-profits, etc.) are so problematic that working without them is probably best when it's possible. I have a lot of experience working with ngos, so I am not just talking shit. I'm serious. You don't need to turn your cool thing into an org.

     @hakan_geijer @ItsTrainingCatsAndDogs Thanks for the link! I skimmed it but it was a little over my head. Do you have anything in that vein but at maybe more of a e.g. sixth-grade reading level? I am thinking of organizations that serve a tangible purpose, like a bike collective or a tool library. things that have to interact with money somewhat. to pay rent, to pay a volunteer coordinator, to buy tools and parts, that sort of thing.
