     @vidmo @achyuthcmu it’s funny. I wrote a reply that was along these lines. But then I deleted and started over.

     Yes, if you imagine a time when you were more stressed out than ever, paired with a time that you felt like absolutely nothing was going right, and add in that everything is on fire, it gets close.

     @achyuthcmu I'm thinking like... ok hear me out, feeling naked... running... screaming... everything on fire and the cloud doesn't bring the rain. All kind initiatives that no one understands, so they wont pony up on the wallet... am I tracking @jerry ?

     @jerry a variety of things depending on the org but I’ve built like automatically updating data visualizations using snowflake, Python and NiFi. Sometimes it can be designing and implementing a function within a database like a stored procedure. Other times it can be data migrations from on Prem to cloud. I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of projects so I like it because I keep doing different things.

     @vidmo I have been one for going on 4 years. I do not think this is a long term career for most people. I don’t think my body can handle that much more.

     @jerry someone once asked me if I would consider a CISO position after I finish some certs... no offense, but I'd rather sit on red hot nails. I know some ciso's that are just completely stressed. I guess in a good org, where the CxO's actually listen to each other... that would be good.

     @achyuthcmu patience with yourself and others, the ability to communicate very well, the ability to break down a complex issue into pieces that can be divided up, and the ability to instill confidence. I am not good at any of those and have to keep working on them.

     @jerry i had a feeling that was the case! thank you for confirming my suspicions haha do you feel like there’s a few things you did, where, when you look back, you’re like that helped me out here? I’m assuming nothing really prepares you to put out dumpster fires but I’m hoping to be wrong here
