     one the one hand I sort of get it?
     but on the other hand I outgrew this shit within like, a month, of finding out that other people with whom I share a label I Identify with sometimes have different opinions than me (an autistic boy expressed a desire to be normal(I cannot relate)) so I'm thinking this guy's being wilfully ignorant in an attempt to maintain a false sense of unity.

     @AnthonyJK it's worth adding that discarding/distorting new information that is inconsistent with a pre-existing worldview is called cognitive dissonance, and it's a built-in feature for, as far as I know, most brains.
     It's something to be careful of.
