   Every time stupid FOSS project names get mentioned, I say that I support silly project names because it outs the people that complain about stupid shit that doesn’t matter more than make valuable contributions.

   I then realized that every time Signal app founder Moxie Marlinspike is brought up, I complain about his stupid name.

   Did I self-own?

     @feld I place higher importance on the name everybody uses than legal name anyway, at this point more people call me "Moon" than my legal name, Ruddiger Pumpernickel.

     @Moon Marlinspike is not a foss project, like all people his genetic code is proprietary, so therefore it is justifiable to make fun of the stupid names his creators gave him. If they didn't want to be made fun of they should have open sourced him.
