   As if we needed any more proof that Covid is a cult, pharmacists in Texas are refusing patients ivermectin prescriptions under a Texas legal loophole that allows pharmacists to deny abortion drugs if it violates their religious beliefs.

     I don't think the law covers that type of objection. The pharmacist isn't a doctor. If they're objecting on "moral" grounds because they don't think it's a treatment, they're practicing medicine. This is uniquely different than say not filling plan B, where the pharmacist would acknowledge it would end the pregnancy — the effectiveness of the drug is the ground for objection and it's rooted in a moral belief, not a medical / scientific one. Just sue the pharmacists. When a few lose, they'll be less likely to act like twats.

     The doctor who was interviewed for the article mentioned that the moral objections come specifically when it is prescribed for Covid.

     Well, now there should be pharmacies that don't prescribe Adderall or birth control opening up all over.

     Find a local pharmacist and find out what he believes I guess. Stay away from corporate places like CVS...

     Unfortunately, hiring a slimeball attorney at $1000/hr and relying on the decency of some rando judge is probably the best that one can hope for in this instance, but few have the time or resources.
