   Not paying for the building is not an option from a macroeconomic perspective. Every one of these giant corporations has tons of economic advisers telling them "please for the love of god do not let the commercial real estate market crash. we will lose all these gains we've made over the last 10 years".

     @seldo Used to, executives weren't expected to type fast cuz they would hire a person to type for them. Maybe it would cost less to hire dedicated typers for executives than it would to pay for like a building

     Real talk: I think a lot of "return to office" executives are just people who never learned to type quickly enough to use Slack comfortably.
