   good morning. overnight someone made multiple 5$ donations to poast using multiple emails and the same credit card likely with the intention of charging them all back causing us 15$ in dispute fees each one

     nope but the process of chargeback takes some time so if I refund it immediately it won't effect us. not sure why stripe allows "elevated" risk purchases tbh

     it was never meant to be the size it is. it was a pet project for friends to shitpost on but word of mouth and here we are. i wont give up on it because i've spent so much of my life and money on it, so i keep doing it because i dont want to see it fail. but i would prefer to pay someone to do it so i dont have to

     the total is in the sidebar, you can see it on desktop. i don't take a pay for labor, if I did our costs would be much, much higher because i value my time. mods aren't compensated, no. but if they need something they know they can ask me and i will provide the best i can

     I put in 20$/month and whatever we dont have to cover bills which some times has been over a thousand. I don't know what to tell you a "reasonable" amount would be. maybe whatever you get out of it would make that decision for you. if you use it all day, pay more. i can't honestly answer

     we do already, but this is a way for people to one-time donate. i can just shut the site off, but I would prefer not to because a lot of people don't want to make a monthly commitment
