   So one thing I'm not seeing a lot of talk about re: Unity bullshit, is that their answer to "what about games on gamepass" was "lol we'll charge the distributor"

   If I'm Microsoft and I'm reading that, what do you think I'm gonna do?

     Meanwhile Apple just told all of their developers to use Unity to make Vision apps.

     If I'm Apple, what do you think I'm thinking right now?

     @Miredly Maybe but I'd guess they'd do much like at best they'd try to put a different deal for their App Store, which means indies would still get screwed and potentially twice.

     @lanodan For real though, the per-install fee based on "trust my proprietary analytics, bro" is a liability that I suspect Apple will find damaging.
