@genmaicha Yeah, I can understand driving to a farm in the middle of nowhere but Taco Bell?

@zaitcev @genmaicha There's at least nothing around it for miles, that's in the middle of nowhere by European standards where instead stores and fast-food places go where customers are at: Within towns and cities or right at their exits.

@lanodan @genmaicha It's not in the middle of nowhere obviously. The photo is probably taken from a model window, as the parking light attests. And, you can see the water tank, meaning there's a population center hidden by the mesa. It's like those picture books "find a clue, solve the crime".

@zaitcev @genmaicha And yeah there's probably something like a motel, but that being in the middle of nowhere is a bit more normal.

@lanodan @genmaicha I don't know if you ever visited U.S., but the attached photo is what middle of nowhere actually looks like in America. It is a motel and a fuel station in Middlegate, Nevada. The Taco Bell we were discussing is nowhere near to the middle of nowhere. It may be 15% into nowhere, if we're generous.

@zaitcev @genmaicha I did visit US but it doesn't means I can grok the US passion for such middle of nowhere things.
Here's a keyword I guess you missed: European Standard.
You're taking it to US standard where you seem to almost have entire states be the middle of nowhere.
