It's one thing to state the fact that the Fediverse is more than open to abuse from rogue agents and poop posters who do deliberately target Black posters.
It's quite another thing, however, to twist that around and mutate it into "Trans folk are the new KKK; we need a Super Blacklist.... errrrrrrrrrr, admin-allied blocklist to keep them from contaminating out pristine spaces and keep our Fedi clean!!"

Here's a reminder, folks: I happen to be one of those very marginalized Black Fedi users they talk about getting flooded by racist smack. Hell, my own blocklist that I run here came directly from Oliphant, but with additions by me.
I can say this as a straight fact: I have blocked and defedded more than my share of instances for attempting racist anti-Black smack.
NOT A SINGLE GODDESS DAMN ONE OF THEM WAS OPENLY TRANS.

In fact, almost every instance that I did end up blocking & defedding were from open fascists/Nazis who also happened to run transphobic smack as well.
Because, that's usually how actual bigots roll.
Yet, this group puts out a supposed Blocklist and only manages to ping transfemme folk and those who defend them as the only true source of anti-Black racism in the whole damn Fediverse??

You know what is the most cracked thing is about this?
They claim that it's about checking racist language by transfemmes.
Yet, one of the main perpetrators of the ambush of Nina based on "Pig Empire" being "antisemitic" and criticism of a conservative South Korean woman being "attacking indigenous women" was willing to spread her smears using an instance that openly spouted antisemitic smack. And, BTW, was included in Oli's original blocklist.
Sweep around your own front door, please.

I have no issue whatsoever with using blocklists as a means of fencing off and quarantining obviously racist/sexist/bigoted language; and you run your instance as you see fit.
But, when you abuse that power to collectively unite for a petty vendetta against an isolated group just to smear them for crimes they did not commit, then don't run under the race card to justify your acts.

@AnthonyJK just as a factual correction, the list absolutely includes plenty of extremely obvious toxic bigoted Nazi garbage servers, but there is an "anonymous" page going around that has only focused on the trans spaces on the list in order to defend them. I am not making any statements here as to the intent of that page's framing, just correcting the record.

It runs counter to both lived experiences (as mentioned here, https://todon.eu/@AnthonyJK@mastodon.redgarterclub.com/111055747225525705, you've placed your experience as the most canonical when collectivity, that isn't the case at all).
Taking out a name in explicitness doesn't hide the fact that she's solely being used here to make a point that instead of focusing on the real issue of intersectionality, it's best to just enter a "war" of ideals.

Also, the real issue is NOT that this blocklist shouldn't exist to target openly Nazi/racist/bigoted spaces; it is the implication that instances with no history of racist/misogynist/antisemitic acts or languages should be included in what is touted as a super blocklist just based on feelz unsupported by evidence or context.
