The physical silent slider is the one piece of iOS usability that I've wished Android would adopt. Now I'm confident that will never happen. -

@tylopoda I can see the convenience of mapping to e.g. flashlight but that one is already always visible as a button on the Lock Screen (and Lock Screen is always on).
Otoh probably great for accessibility uses.

@thomasfuchs I will probably use mine for the camera, but it’s the same thing. It saves maybe a millisecond over the on screen button. I love that switch just to fidget with so I will definitely miss it.
