   Just came across someone who labels themselves a “neoliberal dissident.” So much of online politics values “being a rebel” and you see this on the far-right with how they label themselves “dissidents” despite upholding virtually every institution imaginable.

   But you can’t support the world hegemonic economic order AND get to be a dissident. It’s simply impossible.

     @CosmicTrigger @atompunkray god damn they are so ficking lame. My dad is kind of a moderate lib but like id take that any day over a conservative punk. My grandpap otoh is at least some sort of socialist so like hes more punk than my dad. His friends were more radical than him tho some were even communists and anarchists.
