Mystery Babylon :aheartdrawn: (erosdiscordia@inkdrop.space)'s status on Thursday, 07-Sep-2023 02:20:39 JST Mystery Babylon :aheartdrawn: @endomain I think Social Media as a concept is ending, or already has.
But social media as a practice will continue just fine. It existed before Myspace, it'll exist after Mastodon. Just in smaller collectives, as it did before.
What the overall human-communication zeitgeist will look like, I don't know. I hope we can confront and let go of the need to see "everyone in one place" as the ideal. It didn't used to be expected.
