     When someone creates a piece of art it should be appreciated in its original form.

     It’s like taking the Mona Lisa and just cutting out a bit or repainting it, you’re destroying the original artist’s work.

     Holy shit, do people not know how much the actual distributors of films fuck with the films themselves???

     I have official releases of films where the color timings HAVE been altered from the original negative for no other reason then to make it look more modern.

     For horror they do the exact opposite too. If you ever read the word “remaster” on ANYTHING look into who supervised it AND THEN look into if they were the original staff of the film. If not then don’t get it.

     Let’s take a look at the many… MANY releases of Halloween.

     In my opinion, the 2021 release is the best. It gives a balance of all the different versions and it’s night time scenes on the UHD are brighter than the 2018 Lions Gate one.
