   @dansup I think we should discourage fediblock. It's too political for the fediverse. It's okay to promote the ways a user can block other users or domains, rather than complete servers.

   Let's reserve the complete domain blocking for extreme cases.

     @martijn @dansup "the most extreme cases" are pretty much what fediblock was created for. When entire instances let all moderation slide and allow their users to harass others, or post bigoted and hateful messages, and it doesn't make sense to play whack-a-mole with individual users.

     Turns out, there are a plenty of extreme cases like that, and you're probably benefiting from them not being in your feed 🤷
