   Don't just write one sentence and if you don't know the English terms plötzlich auf deutsch weiterzumachen. Das ist ein massiver brainfuck and it's impolite to people who don't read both languages :angry_cirno:

     @kaia Less funny reply: At least at the moment, it's actually an effective hack to throw off automated content scanning and sometimes moderation, since state of the art machine translation absolutely cannot deal with this sort of thing.
     
     Try throwing your post or the replies into Google Translate or DeepL for illustration.

     There you go, condemning many of the greatest writers of our past. Longfellow anyone? So many happily quoted in Latin, or Greek, even French, rarely German, without a care, and without footnote translations.

     Wouldn't it be fun if someone just saw a sentence in a foreign language and thought: what does that even mean? I think I'll find out.

     But what about writing the one sentence in only one language? Is that not impolite to those who do not read that language, but can read the other? 😀
