     @JoBlakely @Tweetfiction took words outta my mouth. I ended any modicum of illusions I held about current systems and a lot of conditional relationships -- conditional to their convenience or ideology or etc -- along the way.

     Im told to bury, deny, disregard my patients who died or were harmed by covid.

     No thanks.

     except it wasn't the *same* bullshit. It was much worse bullshit. Because going back to a delusion of normal meant putting all the children on the frontlines as they go back to school. It meant an instant eradication of workplace health and safety and disability rights.
     It meant not only a loss of what could have been, but what we already had and fought hard for.
