   Is anyone else with an iPhone as annoyed as I am that “Precipitation” is randomly changed to “Rainfall” every other time I open the weather app? I remain upset that Apple bought and killed Dark Sky. The apple weather app randomly just refuses to load, and when it does load it pulls this shit and inconsistently changes the UI. Infuriating. I hope the engineer at Apple in charge of this trips and skins both his knees today.

     @eriner precipitation is the whole process of rain full evaporation ect rainfall is just rain.
     You don't want the plebs knowing that the amount of water on earth is constant.

     @jeremiah to the best of my knowledge, all of the Linux phones suck (as in, the baseband module sucks and it can't reliably serve its primary purpose of calling). And the ones that don't suck have proprietary baseband modules which means we're back to square one.

     My point being that there ultimately is no choice; you'll be stuck with either an Apple phone or a Qualcomm chip either way. All the flavors of bullshit in between are just a false choice dichotomy.
