@scarlet @SpoopyAnon @Subject24 Indeed, which is why interfering with justice in the way that Frank and the ADL did is so nefarious. You can beg and plead and bitch and moan all you want about how 'violence doesn't solve anything', except it actually does. And you say that shit will go all crazy and anarchistic, except it didn't. Everyone went out, saw that Frank's sentence was carried out, and then went home and had a beer.
In the past, everyone just went and lynched whoever needed lynching and called it a day. However today, there's been so much abuse of the various systems, and there are so many many people who would have been lynched in the past but are walking unpunished in modern society that I suspect that once things boil over, there's going to be a whole mountain of extrajudicial activity. At the end of the day, when injustices such as this continue to exist, you get violence, and there's nothing that you or I can do about it.

@scarlet @SpoopyAnon @Subject24 So we again reach the conclusion that bribing and threatening politicians in exchange for political pardons is a totally viable option. Which is true, it completely worked for Leo Frank. However if you do things like that, you inevitably run the risk of getting lynched, because regardless of what you suggest, the justice system is not infallible nor perfect, and this includes the society in which it functions. The whole reason the justice system exists in the first place is to keep society running without lynchings and the like. So when that system fails, people will inevitably revert to lynchings, which has worked for civilization far longer than the DOJ has.
Surely even you can admit that there exists a point where the justice system is to be considered invalid, and the people here a moral obligation to oppose it.

Maybe, but not by lynching. By protesting, by voting corruption out of office, etc. By non-violent means that don't risk plunging your society into complete anarchy. As imperfect as you think your justice system was or is, you do not want anarchy. You can try it if you want, but I PROMISE you, there's gonna be a lot more than one 13 year old girl that gets savagely raped and murdered in an anarchic society.

@scarlet @SpoopyAnon @Subject24 The judge sentenced him to death by hanging, so how was ensuring his sentence was actually carried out a misjustice?

I'm repeating myself, it's the state's responsibility to carry out the sentence, not yours. You don't get to overrule the judge or the state in these things. Even for death sentences, there are very good reasons why they're not carried out immediately.

Yes, and the judge gave him whatever punishment he did. I don't disagree with it. Everyone else here seems to though, and think they should be the ones to carry justice via lynching, instead of judges.

Do I really need to spoon feed you? We have judges for a reason. To judge these things. They study harder than most people, and pursue a demanding career so they can gain the competency to preside over trials.
I don't have those competencies and neither do you. If that's what the judge decided, that's what he decided. You can disagree if you want, that's your freedom of speech. But you don't get to overrule his decision and murder someone.

Or maybe you'd rather do away with the whole justice system, and live in complete anarchy. You can try it, but good luck with that. I promise you, you won't be the one on top at the end of the day.

The justice works on the assumption that after punishment you're gonna avoid doing that shit again, because you don't want to get the punishment again. But sounds like you want to throw that away, and pretend that no one ever can change their ways. At that point you might as well kill everyone, cause everyone in society will intentionally or accidentally break a law at some point.

If he was convicted, he deserved time in prison (a lot of time), not lynching. Full stop. Mob justice doesn't solve shit. Cancel culture is effectively mob justice at it's core, and it has achieved nothing but slowly destroy America.

@ForbiddenDreamer @scarlet @SpoopyAnon @Subject24 That's the thing, Frank was convicted but kikes with deep pockets and connections kept appealing to higher authorities. He was lynched bc it was understood by everyone he was about to get a pardon bought by bribery and/or blackmail.

But you can't get pardoned if you're dead.
