@thatguyoverthere @feld @alex @eriner There's so many issues with methodology, and if you want to try and disprove it they'll ignore you for lack of credentials. If you have credentials and speak out, you lose your standing. It's insane. I DO NOT want asphalt culture and paved over forests. Houses built 100+ years ago had shade trees and cross breeze ventilation with windows facing appropriate directions. Today people shriek about air-conditioning necessities in their homes built without any shade, without sufficient windows, and without even a simple whole-house fan (which would cool the whole thing at night in only 15 minutes for a fraction of the electric of AC). -

@BowsacNoodle @thatguyoverthere @feld @alex @eriner Even if you didnt want shade trees the moving away from things like attic fans to help circulate air is a damn shame. BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

@reloadedAK @thatguyoverthere @feld @alex @eriner They're not even expensive. It's like $400 for a 6,000 CFM 4-amp belt-driven fan, maybe another $100 for wiring and adding a switch. You'll cool down an average sized house in under 15 minutes with that to close to ambient temperature.
