     @failedLyndonLaRouchite @lutoma @brewsterkahle Lots of nonprofit newsrooms like Vox, for example, use a mix of revenue streams and ask politely for people to donate instead of engaging in #InformationApartheid

     Coming from a person who does freelance journalism and knows the struggle of how badly writing tends to pay. In my experience, nonprofit newsrooms often (but not always)paid better rates.

     but you should know, you really should, that reporting is very expsensive

     so how, exactly, do you propose to pay for that reporting ?
