     That's something that annoys me. Sorry to say it. And I wonder at the time what's that refusal about when Mastodon app (for example) uses GPS and there's no problem with it .

     Because Fdroid refuses black boxes for libraries. That makes sense with the goal.
     They don't want to introduce a dependency to a third app. Everything should be open source.
