     @monsterislandcolonizer @UnityOstara @blaaablaaaa But part of that is why I said the dog/electric fence thing. Women are being flooded with all kinds of messaging to sabotage them at every turn. Satanic whispers from every quarter, even from the supposed moral bodies like churches when they give this carte blanche “well if he’s abusing you then you should leave immediately!” (because normies/boomers don’t realize that everything under the sun - particularly healthy relationship standards - have been weaponized as “abuse” by jews in academia.)

     Girls are constantly drowning in this fantasy that things are always better on the other side. The ones that fall for it add fuel to the fire, never telling the truth to people IRL that life has declined in happiness since severing ties with their husband. Guys don’t really address the lies, either. I’m constantly, CONSTANTLY having to parse the bullshit for the ladies in my life.

     @monsterislandcolonizer @blaaablaaaa Yeah, looking through the post w/ x ray vision I don’t think the relationship was great out of the gate though. She was 31 w/ a single kid, so probably the average roastie timeline of only settling down at 30 because she wanted to hit the milestones like everyone else.

     This smacks of one of those naturalistic things where she’s shifted into a mercenary, evolutionary way of living. Unmoored from any moral framework, she got one kid out and fell prey to those instincts telling her to mix it up and get some fresh genetic combinations baking.

     I don’t always put much stock into that, but there’s something about primal, hedonistic living that can flip that switch. It’s always the promiscuous people that fall into those patterns, like they burned out the moral fuse in their brain with years of pleasure-seeking.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @blaaablaaaa Yes I get "settled down out of desperation" vibes too. No woman who's been with the same man for a long time gets divorced this lightly. A couple that lasts is one that makes their aim having a good life together and for their children, this woman seems to have been out (still is) for making a good life for herself.

     @blaaablaaaa Ooh thanks I need more regretful post-divorce examples in the collection. Kinda light on them and it’s a threat I need to address more.

     I can’t even enjoy the suffering, TBH. This is like listening to the howling of a dumb dog who keeps trying to grab a treat just on the other side of an electric fence. Sad all around, really.

     But hey, things have worked out for the guy, that’s cool. Hopefully his son doesn’t come out too screwed up.
