   So, i learned something today: I thought Mastodon always had a search…
   Obviously this is not the case and I am a little surprised… beside of that we do have a basic search for years :blobcatgoogly:

     @Jain@blob.cat it does have search, it just only searches through your posts and posts that you've interacted with (and also mentions and dms)

     @Jain Some people get up in arms about their posts being indexed and searchable so that might be why.
