      Someone just scanned wikipedia

All of what I listed have HUGE inconsistencies with what was told to the public and still is under a lot of secrecy.

The Duga for example was said to be an over-the-horizon radar system (which didn’t work that well). Despite this: they kept it online for years, still patrol it to this day and only abandoned it due to radiation from Chernobyl. Also, nations looking into it saw it as a potential weapon and not a radar system and it was so powerful you could pick it up on shortwave pretty much world wide.

The Avrocar’s design documents posited it might achieve 50,000 feet and go 3,000+ miles per hour, yet only two are known to exist and the technology was left abandoned due to a lack of funding. All of that is ignoring the saucer shape of the craft.

Project Popeye is still under a lot of secrecy, to the point no one is even sure how successful it was. It far exceeded what they estimated from cloud seeding and no one knows what advancements they made have made after the fact.

That is what they said they were for, yes. Super neat, huh? Or maybe they were a precursor to HAARP, who knows? Very cool though.

There are also super long line buried antenna arrays that were/are used for ELF and SLF signals to communicate with submarines that are wicked cool.

If you ever get bored you should build a crystal radio set and run a long line antenna, it's a cool project. A radio receiver that requires no battery, it literally works on the RF power it receives.

Did you know there are "ghost signals" stuck in the ionosphere from years and years ago, bouncing around until they finally lose all their power? Pilots and radio operators as recent the first Iraq war claimed to sometimes hear radios signals from WWII and Vietnam. We used such high power transmitters that apparently you can sometimes pick up and old signal that has just been stuck in the atmosphere since then.

We used to have over-the-horizon communications that utilized atmospheric propagation, they bounced radio waves off the atmosphere over mountains for communications prior to having the networks and communications we have now. There were notable US over the horizon transmitters in Italy but they are abandoned now.

Long Delayed Echo is a repeatable phenomenon, whether or not someone heard a WWII signal I don't know, tbh. Many people have reported the phenomenon though. Mostly military radio operators and commercial airline pilots and air traffic controllers/tower operators.

Radio Ghosts Have Haunted the Airwaves for Nearly a Century • AmateurRadio.com
        from @amatradio
“The starship hypothesis is a very interesting one, and the one which seems to be the most popular one on the internet,” said Sverre Holm, a professor of signal processing at the University of Oslo. “Such theories always excite our imagination, but it builds on a very poor data set. Unfortunately I believe it says more about human imagination than anything else.”Although scientists have yet to settle on a final explanation for these mysterious echoes, Holm believes this is has less to do with a lack of scientific knowledge than a lack of willpower.“I think that with today’s satellites and sensors, the mystery of Long Delayed Echoes (LDEs) could probably be solved,” he said. “What’s holding us back is most likely the problem is not considered important enough—it doesn’t occur often enough and doesn’t affect important enough forms of communications.”These are excerpts from an interview in an article entitled "Radio Ghosts Have Haunted the Airwaves for Nearly a Century" on Motherboard Vice written by Daniel Oberhaus.
