It’s easy, just do it.

Yeah, Costco has good frozen filets that aren't too expensive. I I need to get better at meal prepping and planning for the week. I have a hard time sticking with anything decent when I don't 😩.

@blaaablaaaa @Floydian_Psychology @GoodBoyUV @Shadowbroker2135 Salmon as a main part of my diet? that doesn’t sound half bad at all

There's a pretty decent book called brain health I think and he recommends blueberries for brain health, also salmon 2-3 times a week is good.

@Shadowbroker2135 @blaaablaaaa @AnFashSchizo @GoodBoyUV what i mean by less sugar is less sugar from things that are not fruit, fruit is great, blueberries have a lot of antioxidants that prevent cancer

@Floydian_Psychology @Shadowbroker2135 @blaaablaaaa @GoodBoyUV I need to eat blueberries more often. Heard they’re good for memory too. Not sure how true that is

@Floydian_Psychology @blaaablaaaa @AnFashSchizo @GoodBoyUV My diet is just eggs, dairy, and vegetables now.

@AnFashSchizo @GoodBoyUV Eating for fun and comfort has been a disaster for my body. Unlearning these habits has been a struggle but I feel like I have a grip on it now

Gosh that is a hard one to break, or boredom. I have pretty much no snacks around but dieting down to a low bf% is so long and slow.

@blaaablaaaa @AnFashSchizo @GoodBoyUV It's incredible how little food you actually need. Funny to think our ancestors couldn't imagine a time when food would be so plentiful that it became a hazard to your health.

@GoodBoyUV Because I'm proud that I've dropped five pounds in a relatively short amount of time and I don't want to fuck it up with one meal

@Shadowbroker2135 @GoodBoyUV Save ordering it for a special occasion. Have some people over so you don’t get too greedy, and then get on your shit the day after so no progress is hindered. Ideal way to go about things

@Shadowbroker2135 "Why resist it"

I buy bread but not as much as I used to and when I do I get higher quality stuff.
Whats weird to me is that the organic wheat stuff I buy last a little, sometimes a lot, longer than the bleached White bread does.
I'm thinking it has to do with the fact that the mold prefers the homogenous substrate of the refined stuff instead of the wheat which has a more "diverse" set of ingredients.

@GabeLakmann If I really need carbs I'll just make some blueberry pancakes

Those sound really good right now.
I usually make French toast since the protein to carb ratio is better but I reckon I could make some breakfast sausages or bacon to go with it.
I know one thing, once I started using real maple syrup I haven't bought any of the fake corn syrup crap again.

@GabeLakmann I stopped buying bread. For syrup it's maple or nothing.

Sometimes I get busy with stuff and forget to eat too.
I've never used them but they have apps for just about everywhere and delivery too.
I'm sure the delivery fee is almost as much as the food though if you're ordering enough for one or two people.

What kind of pizza?
Did you resist or give in?

@GabeLakmann I haven't eaten at all because I've glued to my phone this whole time :akko_whait_what:

@GabeLakmann @Shadowbroker2135 Glycemic index is actually relevant here. Small chain carbohydrates are easier to break down and become fuel for molds faster than fibrous stuff. Works the same way in your gut too, which is why you poo better with fiber.
-

I assumed it was the higher fiber levels and grains that give it that higher level instead of ground up and bleached wheat that caused that but hadn't looked into it much.

@GabeLakmann @Shadowbroker2135 Yeah that's it. Refined stuff takes out most of the fiber and gives that homogenous substrate you mentioned. All it takes is one spore of something that can take hold and it's gonna rocket through there.
