     @Gnomeshatecheese @Piss_Ant You can give nicknames (and titles) to your pregenerated colonists.
     Nickname takes priority over first name if present. Title comes up when you select the colonist. I renamed my pawn from "Ant Senlebiar, Digger" to "Ant (Pissant) Senlebiar, Mousekeeper."
     I'm brand new to the game myself and haven't made custom scenarios or anything of the sort yet. This is my tutorial colony.

     @kj00 @Piss_Ant Well if I decide to buy it, I’ll name one character in your honour.

     I am really tempted. I love CIV and other such games, and this looks like it could run on my old home laptop. Not that many games of this sort do, and I like the idea of the game generating stories.
     Does it take a lot of continuous attention, or can you leave it running and come back once in a while?

     @Gnomeshatecheese @Piss_Ant I think a lot of people leave the game running in the background because once you get used to running your colony, it ends up becoming routine. My laptop is brand new but on the cheap end and the game runs very well and I play it sped up constantly, have made lots of buildings, etc. It's properly optimized and well made from my user experience, and unlike most unity games, it doesn't crash and burn the moment you alt+tab.
     The game will pause on major threats (like raids) by default but you can change that too.

     @kj00 @Piss_Ant Do you get to name your characters?

     I looked the game up and am actually considering buying it. I have to say your vignettes are doing nothing to dissuade me.
