     @thomasfuchs look: applying tiger stripe camo patterns to electronics is a crucial part of modern information security - got to keep a low profile on the network, after all. And to do so without adding the volatile offgassing found in most after market paint jobs, a step which is fast but greatly increases signature noise and risks defensive detection? I mean thats craftsmanship.

     Or, yeah, they were less than forthcoming in their description...

     @thomasfuchs tbf, I see people who order custom keycaps to get a similar two-tone effect. In this case, I believe it's called a "patina".
