   Meta is suing the Norwegian Data Protection Agency after the DPA announced that Metas practices were illegal according to norwegian law. Meta is now incurring fines of 1 MNOK (approx 100.000 USD) per day.

     ""It is as expected that Meta goes to court, because that is generally their strategy when they get a decision against them. Regardless, our position is that the Norwegian Data Protection Authority's decision is valid. We believe that Meta has no grounds for requesting a temporary injunction because the conditions have not been met. There is no good reason why Meta should be allowed to continue with its illegal activities, Judin writes to NRK in an SMS"
