     @RustyCrab @Nishi Not only that, but invisible posts also create an aura of mythical speculation with Twitter users. They can't see oh only this many people use it, they can only hear fantastic stories filtered through a game of Telephone about it.
     
     Even if it's just people malding about Musk and talking about the trans genocide that's going to happen any day now, the mythical story of it being "Twitter but better" is leading to people paying for invites.
